Great city, though I saw it pre-Katrina. Don't limit yourself to the French Quarter, there is alot more to see. Still not sure of what I wouldn't do; have a great time Kist

And I've heard New Orleans French Quarter was supposed to be AMAZING. Anne Rice ended up hosting a couple of her books in that area, and she made them sound beautiful.
