VG has to take a back seat in my life for a bit. :( Zetaa starts school next week, he has given up his VG account so he can truly concentrate on the important stuff in his life (work and school), and I feel that I should do so as well(so he is not tempted). (we live in a small place and it would be unbearable for only one person to play a game without it affecting the other) I will go back to Real life crafting and perhaps I will get to finish writing my second novel (if the motivation is there) I will not give up my VG account for a bit and come online whenever I am alone. Baraba Coast is one chunk south of Pantheon of the Ancients. The crafting stations are placed around the large serpent skeleton on the beach. The mailbox and merchants are a bit south of the house and inland from the crafting stations. The Zossyr Hakrel rift is not far to the west, over the mountains. The adventuring, crafting, and diplomacy trophies are in the house for the guild buffs. I'd like to see some discussion as to what the guild wants to do moving forward. I know there are very few who registered for the new forums... (that, in itself, says something) but we have these forums for discussion. Blackwolf and Jakkal from Safe Haven were so kind as to help Duregon and I get our griffons. After that, Kor's great tanking has helped to get people through Chath, and the 3 S's. Thanks to guildies like Firecatt, Kaval, and Foxxy who helped clear mobs on Shadow. Now we should help them get griffons too... and thanks to Takamoro for helping, too. So, as far as Mains are concerned: Kaval needs Akande Firecatt needs Chath Foxxy needs to complete Sano, I think? For Alts: Mukka needs Torlaxis Mayko needs Syd, Strife Ajir needs Torlaxis too? Ranuvan is on Sano? Anyone that I missed, please post what you need!! Himminy headed up a pug APW raid that went well and it would be great to dedicate some time to that again this week if possible, so that ppl can get better geared. Nev was instrumental as always on strategies. Does anyone have opinions on if we should try to do a pug raid on Thursday again? One last thing I'd like to say is that I really like healing, but there are times when I am simply not able to play due to RL circumstances, and the guild need others to step up to the plate and to embrace a healing role from time to time. Lets get something going! Xam and I the other night had an idea at the same time, to pick up a couple other groups and make a raid out of them. Find another group or two in SH or SoD and talk them into forming a PuR. I know we don't want to let just anyone in, but hopefully finding a couple other guild groups out there, with guilds we know, or would like to form some kind of alliance with, or get to know and show off our mad skillz to etc, shouldn't be too hard. I figure we could try it on one of our normal Raid nights, or maybe sometime over the weekend so we know there will be more ppl on. I know I need to get into APW asap to get me some better gear. And with APW being pretty much the start of raiding we can see where we stand. The other night trying the MH 1 group raid mobs was a bit of a shot in the dark. They are a bit more advanced for us gear wise currently. But I feel going back to APW to just get raiding again, have some fun, and gear up for better stuff will be something we can handle and enjoy. Right now we just don't have the want/need to play, so we've cancelled our subs. We did not cancel our subs to go to another game, and we are not leaving KR. I didn't come to this decision lightly, as when I first joined I had some of my best times in Vanguard ever. However I want to be more active, and it seemed to me that there was more interest in the upcoming Rift game than VG in this guild. That, and the fact that an officer left, along with others, made me reconsider my position in the game. I hope there are no hard feelings, and I wish KR luck and success. PHPBB3 once again let me down, we got hacked.. massive sql injection (yaaay bullshit) and lots of DB corruption. A lot of the stuff on the board is just trounced with bullshit and instead of spending the very little time I have trying to clean it up, i'm officially done with PHPBB3 and we've moved over to something very different. Sadly, Users weren't able to be transfered :( CREATE YOURSELF A NEW ACCOUNT!!! There were many...many...MANY old accounts for a lot of old KR folks that haven't been to the site in forever. So, yay for spring cleaning? Anywho, let me know if you experience issues. -Kist
